1. Purpose of These Terms
These Terms of Use govern your general access to and use of the MuslimsPay website, mobile application, and related content (the "Platform"). Where you register for a paid account or process transactions, our Terms of Service also apply and take precedence for commercial matters such as fees and payment processing.
2. Who Can Use the Platform
The Platform is intended for business owners, staff, and individuals aged 18 or older who wish to explore or use MuslimsPay's tools. By using the Platform, you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Permitted Use
You may use the Platform for lawful personal or business purposes consistent with its intended function, including browsing information, exploring features, and using integrated Islamic tools such as prayer times, Qibla direction, Hijri calendar, and Zakat calculation.
4. Prohibited Conduct
When using the Platform, you agree not to:
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems
Upload or transmit harmful code, viruses, or malicious content
Scrape, copy, or republish content without permission
Use the Platform to harass, defame, or mislead others
Misuse the Islamic tools or content in a manner that misrepresents religious guidance as official scholarly ruling
5. Content and Religious Information
Prayer times, Qibla direction, Hijri calendar dates, and Zakat calculations provided through the Platform are offered as practical conveniences based on generally accepted calculation methods and are not a substitute for guidance from a qualified religious scholar. We aim for accuracy but recommend users verify time sensitive religious obligations through local mosques or trusted scholarly sources.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, design elements, and software on the Platform belong to MuslimsPay or its licensors. You may view and use the Platform for its intended purpose but may not reproduce, modify, or distribute its content without written permission.
7. Third Party Links and Services
The Platform may reference or link to third party services, including payment providers and community organisations. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third party services.
8. Availability of the Platform
We aim to keep the Platform accessible and reliable, including offline supported functionality for regions with limited connectivity, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may suspend access for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues.
9. Our Commitment to Ethical Practice
MuslimsPay is built with the intention of reflecting Islamic principles of honesty, fairness, and transparency in how the Platform is designed and operated. We do not currently hold formal Sharia certification, and we present this commitment as an ongoing aspiration and design principle rather than a certified religious ruling. We welcome scholarly feedback as we continue to develop the Platform.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
